Malaysia and China Strengthen Halal Industry Partnership – DPIM Hosts Shandong Huifa
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia (DPIM) recently welcomed a courtesy visit from Shandong Huifa Foodstuff Co. Ltd., a public-listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company is known for producing Halal-certified food products in China.
The delegation was warmly received by YBhg. Dato’ Khairul Shahril Hamzah, Vice President of DPIM and CEO of HQC Commerce. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Zengyu Hui, Chairman of Shandong Huifa, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Nasharudin Mat Isa, and other senior management members.
This two-hour discussion was a follow-up to previous meetings and focused on strengthening Malaysia-China Halal cooperation. Key topics discussed included:
- Building a digital Halal trade platform in China
- Offering Halal training and education for universities and businesses
- Organizing Halal expos in Gansu and Nanning
- Other Halal-related initiatives to support the growing industry
DPIM is honoured to be chosen as a strategic partner for this initiative and appreciates the trust given by Shandong Huifa. This collaboration marks a positive step towards expanding global Halal trade and partnerships, especially between Malaysia and China.
DPIM hopes this partnership will lead to more joint efforts in promoting the global Halal economy.
